Pertaining to the Revenue Section of all taxes direct, indirect and miscellaneous fees. All matter relating to the levy and collection of Indirect taxes.

Objectives:

i) To computerize the revenue department of ULB for efficient tax management.
ii) To put in place a GIS Based Property Tax Information System to streamline the process of property tax collection.
iii) To bring transparency in property tax levy and collection.

The Revenue Section is mainly responsible for the following functions:

i) Property Tax Assessment
ii) Grant of Trade License
iii) Collection of Profession Tax
iv) Mutation of Name in Property Tax
v) Issue of Assessment Certificates / NOC
vi) Entertainment Tax on Cable TV / Amusements / Films
vii) Advertisement Tax
